João Pereirinha

Born and raised in Portugal, João «hanj_p» Pereirinha is a freelance Cinematographer (DOP), editor (mainly on personal projects) and often works in the lighting department.

Pereirinha studied Cinema at Lusófona University, graduated on 2024, and obtained ARRI Certified Training for Camera Systems in 2024. It was mainly in his final year, while filming his final project as Director of Photography, that he realised his great interest lay in the ability to observe the world and compose images.
